Our Restore Shropshire’s Verges Project [RSVP] aims to establish wildflowers on verges along the A458 from just beyond Morville to Muckley Cross – visually attractive, of biodiversity benefit and, in the long run, cheaper to maintain than the previous management regime.

Starting in 2025, a contractor carries out “cut & collect” up to three times per year, each preceded by litter-picking. Peter Carty, Chair of the Marches Meadow Group, did a survey in June 2026 and is advising us how to proceed.
